The inner surface of capillary samples, as well as flat glass slides subjected to the patterned coating were analysed. Mosaic images were collected to cover several millimetres of the surface, to investigate the resolution of the patterned bands. Region-of-interest spectra were collected from each of the observed bands so that surface chemistry information could be compared between areas. These results were used to help improve the patterned coating application. ER -
